Did you know that peanut belongs to the legume family and originates from South America, Mexico, and Central America?
The history of peanuts goes back to the time of ancient Incas 3,500 years ago when it was used for the construction of the vessels and as food.
In the 15th century the Spanish conquerors transferred peanuts all over the world, and in North America arrived in the 18th century.
Today is one of my favorite snacks with a movie or a book.
It can be with salt or in combination with chocolate or with dry fruits.
But the peanut is much more than a quick mouthful for its nutritional and medicinal properties.
The peanuts contain a number of vitamins and minerals.
That includes vitamin E, vitamin B complex (B1, B2, B3, B6), calcium, magnesium, iron, zinc, and manganese.
At the same time, peanut has the most important coenzyme Q10 and resveratrol, which extends our life and rejuvenate our body.
Due to the above ingredients, peanut will:
– Improve memory
– Improve hearing
– Affect sexual potency
– Gives shiny hair
– Calms the nervous system
Scientists also believe that the consumption of this ingredient or peanut butter can reduce the percentage of cardiovascular disease and diabetes.
Among other things, this is due to its antioxidant properties, and high content of phytonutrients and dietary fiber.
An interesting fact is that, despite the popular belief that peanut thicker, people who consume it have little chance of gaining weight.
When you eat peanut it creates the feeling of satiety, and you provide your body with a lot of nutrients, protein, and vitamins.
It can be mixed with other nuts or dry fruits.
On that way, we can get tasty, very filling and a complete meal.
Another valuable fact should be noted.
Fried or baked salted peanuts and peanut butter are also nutritious and healthy.
Peanuts do not lose their nutritional properties with baking.
What is unhealthy is excess salt or unhealthy frying oil.
It is best to use cold-pressed oil for frying.
However, you can simply bake them in the oven without oil.
It is equally delicious and no unhealthy additives!
NOTE: The only downside is that peanuts cause allergic reactions in individuals, and can be fatal.
But already at the first consumption, we will know whether we belong to this group or not.
If peanuts cause an allergic reaction, that ingredient is not for us!
We need to satisfy our desire for snacks with some other nuts!
For those who can eat this delicious ingredient, a good appetite!
