But drinking water on an empty stomach immediately after waking up is some other natural way of healing our body and health.

Drinking water on an empty stomach is an ancient Japanese tradition

The Japanese people have this habit a long time ago, but it`s also a proven therapy that can treat a lot of serious diseases.

Drinking water became more popular around World War II after publishing in one Japanese newspaper.

The health benefits of this treatment also have been backed up by a lot of studies.

According to this Japanese tradition, a drinking water therapy may be used like natural treatment for gastritis, diabetes, asthma, headache, arthritis, bronchitis, heart problems, epilepsy, urine and kidney disease, tuberculosis, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, hemorrhoids, nose ear and throat diseases, eye diseases, cancer treatment, menstrual disorders and problems with the uterus.

Here is the way how you should perform this treatment:

-1. Drink 4 glasses of 160 ml of water before you brush your teeth.

It`s ideal if water doesn`t contain fluoride.

-2. You can clean and brush your mouth, but you don`t drink or eat anything for the next 45 minutes.

-3. Take your breakfast as usually.

-4. Don`t eat anything for the next 2 hours after your breakfast.

According to this original Japanese treatment, the water needs to be slightly warm.

A water shouldn`t be on room temperature or cold.

How often we need to drink water on an empty stomach?

The practice of drinking water we need to do regularly and there are different time frames predicted for treatment, control or improve conditions:

-3. Diabetes – 30 days

-4. High blood pressure – 30 days

-5. Tuberculosis – 90 days

-6. Cancer – 180 days

Similar drinking water in India – Why can be this harmful?

There is a similar tradition in India called, “early morning water treatment” but they recommend that we need to drink 1.5 liters of water.

However, our kidneys can process 0.8 – 1 liter of water for one hour so more that that quantity can be dangerous.

It can develop one condition known as hyponatremia – is low sodium concentration in our blood.

This can occur when our bloodstream sodium levels are lower and that is unhealthy level.

Our kidneys cannot process all the water and the extra water can and will dilute the concentration of sodium.

If this happens, our cells begin to stretch and that is potentially deadly.
