Cyanosis! Blue Color Symptom Might Be A Serious Disease Or Blood Poisoning!

Cyanosis

The blue color of the skin (Cyanosis) is an important symptom of heart disease, blood, lungs and poisoning …

Cyanosis

The blue color can affect the entire surface of the skin or you can see it in certain parts.

The most common on the hands, face, lips, and oral mucosa.

Blue color comes from the blue blood.

It is known that the arterial blood is bright red.

The bright color of blood comes from the oxygen that is contained therein.

The more oxygen, the blood is lighter, less oxygen gets darker.

The oxygen in the blood is bound to the red blood cells, and in a pigment to a single color.

This pigment is located in red blood cell called hemoglobin.

The value of hemoglobin in the blood is 16 g per 100 ccs of blood.

If there is more than a third of hemoglobin without oxygen, it is showing a blue color of the skin.

The malfunctioning of the heart often causes a blue color.

Some children with heart defects are with the blue color of the skin immediately after birth.

The blue color at other children occurs only during puberty when the body rapidly develops.

At some children this blue color occurs because of inactive physical mode.

The time when Cyanosis occurs depends on the type of heart disease.

It causes difficulty to supply of blood with oxygen to the lungs, or through unnatural openings in the heart of an intense mixing of venous and arterial blood.

Some heart defects can be cured surgically.

The blue color of the skin depends on the acquired heart defects.

The most common cause is inflammation of the heart, especially rheumatic inflammation.

Long-term, chronic heart and lung disease occasionally causes the Cyanosis (blue color of the skin), especially when is intensified physical effort.

The blue color can bring all those changes in the airways that prevent normal passage of air into the lungs (bluish color in severe pneumonia because they partly filled with inflammatory fluid).

The blue color is seen in those diseases that lead to narrowing of the airway tube (swelling of the vocal cords, sore throat, whooping cough, diphtheria, bronchial asthma, tumors).

A face has an extremely blue color during an epileptic attack (seizures).

A common cause of blue color is violations of the airways, and foreign bodies in the airways (the case of drowning, hanging, strangulation).

Skin pigmentation has the significantly affects at an occurrence of blue color.

Cyanosis is serious disease that needs healthcare immediately

Cyanosis is difficult to notice at people with dark skin, it`s possible to see only on the mucosa.

Therefore, a doctor determines a degree of cyanosis by the appearance of the oral mucosa.

The blue color can occur in certain areas of the skin, at places where the blood circulation is moving considerably slowly.

This is possible to notice in winter during the intense cold on the prominent and parts of the body, such as fingers, nose, and ears.

The blue color of the skin may occur due to poisoning.

Some poisons act to hemoglobin in red blood cells by making it unfit for oxygen (conversion of divalent iron to trivalent in hemoglobin, i.e., oxidized iron).

This phenomenon is called methemoglobinemia.

The skin becomes gray-blue color.

May occur and some other signs, but not very strongly expressed like headaches and shortness of breath.

Chemical compounds that lead to such changes are known as nitrites (artificial salt), hydrogen peroxide, aniline, then sulfonamide drugs, nitroglycerin, painkillers that contain phenacetin.

NOTE:

There is well-known lethal poisoning at infants if they were wrapped with diapers that had hospital stamps soaked in aniline (which entered the body through the skin).

Nitrite is possible to find often at the unclean draw well places where is rotting organic matter inside water.

If the infant drink that draw well water it will get very soon cyanosis.

In rare cases, there is a hereditary disorder of the blood pigment, and these children can have a bluish color, especially in the spring when the amount of vitamin C in the body is significantly in a small amount.

Treatment of those cases depends on the cause.

Some heart defects are possible to operate and also heart failures are possible to treat.

The inflammatory diseases are possible to treat with antibiotics and sulfonamide.

Treatment of cyanosis (blue color) because of “blood poisoning” is very successfully.

With special appliances, it is possible accurately establish the amount of the changed hemoglobin.

Of drugs, patients can get a lot of vitamin C and special color directly into the blood and visual improvement is visible during treatment.
